Personalized Pringles(R) Cans Arrive for 2008 Holiday Season
Tuesday 07. October 2008 - New Web site application adds to season's fun, while benefiting Children's Miracle Network
Pringles, America’s favorite stacked potato crisp, unveiled Pringles Can Creator today on its Web site. This fun, interactive application gives Pringles lovers the opportunity to customize their own cans and help support a great cause. For every can creation submitted, Pringles will make a $1 donation to Children’s Miracle Network.
Pringles Can Creator allows individuals to design their unique containers with these four simple steps:
— Create a Design: Design a background from scratch or choose from
ready-made templates. Customize with color, gradients, and personal
photos. Add images from our library or upload your own. Include a
personal text message with a custom design.
— Save to the Gallery: Show off your creativity. Save your Pringles can
design to the Gallery for everyone to admire. See how many votes you
can earn in three categories: Funniest, Most Creative, and Best
Design.
— Share with Friends: Send your own can design to friends and family, or
post it to your blog. Ask your friends to visit and vote for your can
as Funniest, Most Creative, and Best Design. If desired, use glitter,
stickers or ribbons to further personalize the customized can.
— Print and Attach: Display your design on a Pringles can. Print your
can design on an 8 1/2 x11 piece of paper. Cut along white border and
wrap lengthwise around can. Line paper with bottom of Pringles can and
tape or glue where ends meet.

exchange small gifts
— Store valued or breakable ornaments
— Use differently designed containers to organize ribbons and wrapping
materials
The Pringles(R) Can Creator is available until June 30, 2009.
Starting October 27, for every can creation submitted, Pringles will make a $1 donation to Children’s Miracle Network, up to $20,000 (the guaranteed maximum to be awarded on or before June 30, 2009). The Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Their proceeds provide over $2.5 billion in charitable care each year.
