Biopack to Feature New Color Capabilities at Emballage in Paris

Tuesday 16. September 2008 - Biopack Environmental Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: BPAC) is pleased to announce its participation in the Emballage 2008 World Packaging Exhibition from November 17 to 21, 2008, at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte - France.

This will be the second time the company has participated as an exhibitor at this premier European packaging show.
Featuring over 200 exhibiting companies, firms and brands from nearly 50 countries will be represented. Biopack expects that more than 400 new products will be featured, which should allow visitors a comprehensive view of innovations. More than 142 visiting countries are scheduled to attend. Based on 2006 Emballage data, 82% of these visitors play a role in the purchasing process. Nearly 500 journalists are expected to be received during the exhibition including coverage from 3 French national TV news programs.
“We were extremely pleased with the visitor response to our unique, 100% biodegradable product when we were last there. We expect strong interest in our new color capabilities that should allow us to expand our customer base,” said Gerald Lau, CEO. “Our plan contemplates that, upon completion of our Biopark Facility, we will have the capability to produce product in eight different colors simultaneously, each on its own production line of 5 machines. Being built in phases, the facility is expected to be one of the largest producers of color biodegradable packing in the industry.”
