Thursday 04. September 2008 - Extensive track record of innovation and expertise enhances company's projected growth

LevelVision announced today that digital outdoor industry leader and innovator Bob Martin joins the company as President and CEO. Mr. Martin brings a nationally recognized reputation for developing impactful target audience experiences, particularly within the out-of-home, digital signage, cinema, and interactive TV advertising media landscapes. LevelVision is a digital media company that brings advertising and informational messages to previously unreachable, highly desired commercial locations. Mr. Martin succeeds Jim Currie, who will continue as Vice Chairman of the company.

“After many years working with leading brands and innovative media companies that utilize out-of-home advertising, it’s truly exciting for me to join LevelVision,” said Mr. Martin. “The company’s highly effective digital floor screens hold great potential for brands and advertisers looking to not only reach buyers and consumers, but to impact their buying decisions. I’ve been following LevelVision technologies and look forward to leading the company to the next level of its growth in this emerging industry.”

In 2007, Mr. Martin founded an advertising and creative media consultancy, dedicated to developing impactful sales and marketing strategies for media sellers, buyers, and clients. He served as a founding member of the OVAB (Outdoor Video Advertising Bureau) Agency Advisory Board, and has worked extensively with several prominent companies within the digital signage industry. Prior to that, Mr. Martin was an award-winning media director with Universal McCann, where he envisioned and developed several nationally recognized out-of-home media experiences, including the “Digital Brand Experience” corridor at JFK airport in New York. In addition, Mr. Martin is credited with creating several groundbreaking cinema advertising concepts and cross-promotional marketing events for various client campaigns.

“This company exemplifies the new frontier of the out-of-home experience. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on LevelVision’s College Bookstore Network, where we are experiencing tremendously positive feedback on our floor technology and its impact on sales,” said Mr. Martin. To date, LevelVision floor screens are installed in more than 300 bookstores on college and university campuses across the nation.

In the last two decades, Jim Currie was a senior executive of several Fortune 500 companies, including Sears, Heller Financial, Coldwell Banker Group and Moore Corporation where he was involved with three successful startups. He created the concept, the business, and the brand for Rapid Refund, the world’s first electronic filing of tax returns and refund anticipation loans. He also was involved in startups of the Discover Card and Borrowers Choice. Mr. Currie joined LevelVision at its inception and has led the company in consumer research, market deployments, product and technology development, the growth of its patent portfolio and the LevelVision brand.

“I have been fortunate to have worked with some great teams to build new businesses. The LevelVision employees are among the most innovative, creative and forward thinking. It’s been a pleasurable challenge to take our strong patent portfolio of technology and create innovative and effective solutions for the out-of-home market. I enthusiastically join the decision to bring a talented media executive to accelerate our growth,” said Mr. Currie.
