Tuesday 19. August 2008 - Union Chemicar America (UCA) has recently expanded their Near-Edge Ribbon product offering to meet the needs of the rapidly growing flexible packaging thermal transfer printing market.

The product line-up includes the following package printing solutions:

• US770 high speed wax/resin
• US760 high durability wax/resin
• UH710 high speed/high durability wax/resin
• US550 super premium durability resin

These formulas are designed for reliable and high-speed Near-Edge printing performance on printers such as Markem Smartdate, OpenDate, TEC, Avery, Bell Mark, Norwood, and VideoJet.
