Drastich to Direct Strategic Planning & Sustainability
Thursday 07. August 2008 - As part of its continued commitment to sustainability, Alcan Composites USA is pleased to announce that the businessí efforts to reduce its environmental impact will be led by Karel Drastich, director, strategic planning & sustainability.
Drastich has worked for Alcan for the past four years in the graphic display business both in the United States and in Europe. He holds a masterís degree in business administration from the INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France, and a bachelorís degree in hospitality and travel management from the University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Drastich will be communicating with Alcan Composites USA customers on a regular basis through a new customer newsletter entitled Care & Conserve ô. This newsletter will be focused on ways that manufacturers, distributors, fabricators, graphic designers and end-users can reduce the amount of Fome-CorÆ, GatorfoamÆ, SintraÆ, Structa-Boardô, DibondÆ, and AlucobondÆ graphic display boards sent to landfills. Alcan Composites USA remains committed to reducing its environmental impact through conservation methods, including reduce, reuse and recycling techniques.
