Petters Group Worldwide Acquires Assets of Metropolitan Media Group

Friday 18. July 2008 - Petters Group Worldwide announced today the acquisition of all assets from Metropolitan Media Group which will cease operations.

The new entity solely owned by Petters Group initially will be called Community Media Group. This acquisition aligns future and current business projects for Petters Group.
“Kenan Askov and the team at Metropolitan Media have built a strong portfolio of community and business publications. Petters Group looks to support their continued growth and work closely with Askov’s team on new ventures,” said Tom Petters CEO & Chairman of Petters Group.
Community Media Group and many of the Metropolitan Media staff will be hired to continue the operations of Minnesota Business and many of the fifteen community publications. Community Media will office at the Petters Group headquarters at 4400 Baker Road in Minnetonka.
