Dresser-Rand Completes the Acquisition of Peter Brotherhood Assets

Friday 04. July 2008 - Dresser-Rand Group Inc. ("Dresser-Rand" or the "Company") (NYSE:DRC), a global supplier of rotating equipment, announced today that its UK subsidiary, Dresser-Rand Company Ltd., has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Peter Brotherhood Ltd.

The Company issued a news release on June 30, 2008, announcing that its subsidiary had entered into the acquisition agreement. Details of the transaction were disclosed at that time.
