Hot stamping has never been easier
Friday 13. June 2008 - Luxor/Alufin MP is Kurz's newest hot stamping foil. It is described as a universal troubleshooter, ushering in a new era in hot stamping.
Generally, it has been necessary to ensure the stamping foil being used is precisely tailored to the substrate, ink and lacquer system, stamped motif, stamping die and stamping machine – until now.
With Luxor/Alufin MP, the processor has a great deal more flexibility. Luxor/Alufin MP is suitable for virtually all surfaces in the graphics industry, even very difficult to stamp surfaces such as UV lacquers. The foil adheres very well to a wide variety of surfaces, in particular to many acqueous lacquer systems.
Luxor/Alufin MP stamping foil can be processed at high speeds and is ideally suited for large-area designs and embossed stampings. Additionally, it is easy to process regardless of which stamping machine system is used. The foil is extremely versatile while still offering an uncompromisingly high level of stamping quality. It delivers very good gloss, is temperature resistant and provides flawless coverage even on rough surfaces.
Luxor/Alufin MP fulfills many a processor’s dreams. The easy-to-process foil saves setup times, simplifies storage requirements and shortens delivery times. Processors who use stamping foils in small quantities, or accept orders with a diverse range of requirements, will profit a great deal from this versatility.
