PICON CELEBRATES AT DRUPA

Saturday 07. June 2008 - Picon, the printing industry confederation, celebrated Drupa success with its members in its lounge in Hall 10. "It's been brilliant and the interest has been phenomenal," says Richard Caslon, managing director of Caslon, a Picon member who took advantage of the special rates afforded by the association's booking of stand space.

“We have a small stand, which is all we need. However, Picon passes on the discount that it gets from taking a large amount of space. Another bonus is our proximity to the Picon lounge with all the facilities that come with that.”

Picon executive director Tim Webb is delighted with its members’ participation. “Some of our members have been to more Drupas than they care to admit, while others have never been here before,” he says. “Drupa is an exciting place to meet the world, and bringing them together in Dusseldorf is part of our role.”

Picon’s participating members are spread throughout four halls in ‘villages’ Many other UK exhibitors are members of Picon, but have come to the exhibition under their own steam.
