DCM Group will present numerous Innovations at DRUPA 2008

Tuesday 27. May 2008 - The French DCM group, servicing flexible packaging producers for more than 50 years, demonstrate group synergy at DRUPA 2008. After the purchase of the American company H.G. WEBER at the beginning of the year, the 4 companies of the group, DCM USIMECA, ATN, HOLWEG and H.G. WEBER will be together on the 240 m2 stand to present the latest innovations in their field.

HOLWEG and H.G. WEBER will present a complete line of paper bag manufacture inline with a six colour printing. It will also be an opportunity for consumers of both companies to meet their commercial contacts and to gain knowledge of the after sales organization worldwide.
ATN will introduce the new in line rotary cutter which can be inserted into a new printing line of cardboard packaging or to supplement an existent line.
DCM USIMECA will put emphasize on its new developments of gravure printing, lamination, slitter rewinders and “sleeve” production machines.


The range of DCM slitter rewinders recently supplemented by USIMECA covers web width from 600 to 1800 mm. Emphasis is made on productivity based on the machine concept and equipment on it. These innovative solutions centre on the loading of the mother roll, the slitting section and finished reel handling. The user friendly slitter rewinder from DCM USIMECA will be shown by regular demonstrations.

DCM USIMECA will also present their new model of solventless laminators. Not only is DCM USIMECA a world leader of wax and hot melt coaters and also produce dry and wet laminators. Visitors looking for a tailor made machine solutions are welcome. DCM also have experience with specific applications like PVDC coating, registered cold seal and so on.

Rotogravure printing will also be represented. Noted for their narrow web concept, DCM USIMECA have gone further to minimize the time of production changes.
Thanks to the designed, the narrow web rotogravure machine BIVA is more than ever a serious solution for the printer who is looking for a reliable, low manning level and profitable machine for short and medium print runs..
