Kempsmith Machine Company, manufacturer of folding carton die cutters will be unveiling their new Variable Repeat Rotary Die Cutter at DRUPA 2008. The new web-fed VRRC uses flexible magnetic dies and only one set of magnetic cutting cylinders for all repeat lengths. The problems and expense of changing multiple cutting cylinders and costly dies are illuminated. The VRRC is completely servo driven and can be put in-line with a printing press or run off-line with preprinted stock. Rotary pin stripping allows easy removal of internal or external waste. Flexible dies offer cutting, creasing or embossing. And now with the Kempsmith Variable Repeat Rotary Cutter, it can all be done at the same time with one impression.
