Sustainable packaging solutions play an increasingly important role as a new green wave is brushing in over Europe. As a leading packaging manufacturer, Superfos takes on a part of the responsibility in this field, and therefore the company strengthens the innovative focus on sustainable solutions.

Superfos’ aim to reach a smaller carbon footprint is integrated in our everyday production. We only use raw materials, which can be reused or disposed of in another environmentally responsible way, and we are successfully reducing consumption of both resources and energy in production.

Through several years of product innovation, we have reduced weight and optimised pallets with massive savings on carbon emissions during transport as a result. Moreover, we have introduced new packaging solutions that save 20% on raw material and energy consumption.

100% recycled and recyclable
One of Superfos’ latest product innovations is a packaging concept made of 100% recycled and recyclable materials. Within the next few months, the first Superfos Eco packaging – UniPak EcoTM – reaches the UK containing 100% biodegradable washing powder. In the near future, several of other Eco products will join the wide range of Superfos packaging solution.

At our stand D21 in hall 10, at Interpack 2008 we have designed a spectacular set-up to present the results of our innovation within sustainable packaging solutions, and naturally, the brand new UniPak EcoTM will be one of them. We look forward to seeing our customers and all other interested at the fair.
