Thursday 24. April 2008 - Technology Executive Will Lead Company's Continued Growth and Commitment to Deliver Industry-Leading Services for Consumers and Advertisers
YELLOWPAGES.COM, a subsidiary of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), today announced the appointment of David Krantz to the position of president. Krantz, who will be based in Glendale, will oversee the company’s continued growth in the advertising and search industry.
“David has great experience in developing innovative Internet-based services,” said Ray Wilkins, group president of AT&T Diversified Businesses. “He has a great understanding of the industry and a strong vision for how to best connect buyers and sellers across technologies in a way that optimizes the effectiveness of a customer’s advertising spend.”
Krantz has been with AT&T for five years. Most recently, he led the company’s Business Development organization, which is responsible for discovering, initiating and deploying new services for the consumer market. Before he joined AT&T, Krantz had served in senior marketing and business development roles with a number of technology and Internet companies, including GoDigital Networks and America Online/Netscape Communications.
“Consumers and advertisers rely on the convenience, speed and unique features of YELLOWPAGES.COM,” Krantz said. “Technology will continue to make local search and advertising even more valuable than it is today. I look forward to being a part of delivering on that promise.”
Krantz replaces Charles Stubbs, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
