Scanbuy to Provide TDC with the First Mobile 2D Barcode Solution in Nordic Region

Wednesday 26. March 2008 - Largest Mobile Operator in Denmark will roll out ScanLife Platform for Mobile Devices

Scanbuy, a global leader in mobile 2D barcode and marketing solutions, announced today that TDC, Denmark’s leading provider of mobile communications, will support its ScanLife platform and become only the second carrier in Europe to commercially release a 2D barcode service.

TDC and Scanbuy will provide software for free download on subscribers’ handsets as well as the ScanLife Code Registry and Management platform for marketers and content providers to create and manage 2D barcodes. Interested subscribers in Denmark can text SCAN to 1231 in order to download the ScanLife application. ScanLife will support EZcodes, which are designed for a broad range of camera phones to quickly recognize and process information.

TDC is the leading provider of communications solutions in Denmark and a burgeoning player in the Nordic business market. The company developed from a traditional provider of landline and mobile services into a provider of modern communications solutions. TDC chose Scanbuy because of its complete solution and its deep experience in launching integrated 2D barcode solutions in several other markets.
