Two New Targeted Sales Modules in the KODAK MARKETMOVER Services Program Help Digital Printers Capture Additional Business

Thursday 06. March 2008 - Print service providers looking to expand and grow their digital print businesses will benefit from the two newest vertical market programs added to the KODAK MARKETMOVER Targeted Sales Module (TSM).

Joining four existing modules, the Financial Services and the Education Targeted Sales Modules are designed to support KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Press users in their sales and marketing efforts to capture new business and drive new revenue in a variety of specific vertical markets.

For each vertical segment, the individual Targeted Sales Module offers an overview of the unique business issues in that market and provides customizable integrated cross media campaigns to help market and sell application based solutions that address the challenges of that particular vertical market.

In addition, categorized by vertical market, users will find direct marketing programs, brochures, presentation and sales tools, personalized URL templates, links to an online prospect database, an active list and contact information of all relevant major publications and trade shows, and an online portal for the customization of marketing and sales tools.

Because many printers today lack the internal marketing resources necessary to identify and capture new business in vertical markets, the MARKETMOVER Services program is a critical asset in the marketing toolkit of a growing print for pay business. Kodak has developed the program as part of its commitment to helping its customers grow and succeed.

The strategies and content of the Financial Services Module help print service providers address the business needs that financial services firms have with new customer acquisition, customer retention and cross selling, and cost reductions from streamlined business processes. The Education Module is designed to address recruitment, fundraising, and event marketing by helping with programs such as customized collateral and student welcome kits, campaign microsites, personalized sales programs, and event marketing kits.

“These new MARKETMOVER Targeted Sales Modules will enable our customers to expand their customer bases by addressing the needs of vertical markets that represent high print opportunities,” says Robert Barbera, Director, Business Development Services, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “These resources make it possible for printers to truly understand the needs of specific customer groups.”

The two new MARKETMOVER Targeted Sales Modules join four existing Targeted Sales Modules: Manufacturing, Retail, Advertising and Marketing Agencies, and Existing Customers (a program for marketing to an existing customer base).

At the AIIM ON DEMAND Conference and Expo, Kodak will showcase the breadth and power of its KODAK MARKETMOVER Business Development Services:

MARKETMOVER Resource Center—A portal with a wide range of marketing and sales tools to support a growing print business
MARKETMOVER Targeted Sales Modules—A comprehensive program to support printers in marketing and selling into targeted verticals
MARKETMOVER Network—A community of KODAK Product users to support distribute and print opportunities
MARKETMOVER Consulting and Training Services—A resource for Kodak’s digital printing and web-to-print customers
Print Ambassador—A program designed to help drive awareness for the power of print.
To extend the value of the MARKETMOVER Targeted Sales Modules, customers can choose from several optional services available through Marketing Mentors, Inc., a provider of strategic sales and marketing support to corporations engaged in cross media applications including print, direct mail, and the Internet. For e-marketing, participants can select custom landing page, automated sales routing, or personalized URL capabilities. Print providers can also create a complete corporate identity package to promote their companies.

KODAK MARKETMOVER Business Development Services deliver a wide range of innovative tools, resources, and support to enable customers to maximize their return on investment in new technologies and achieve dynamic business growth. MARKETMOVER Service professionals work directly with customers in developing marketing plans, training senior management and sales representatives on new business opportunities, and supporting marketing and sales programs.
