Duraluxe Introduces UV-LED Printable Aluminum Panels
Friday 18. September 2026 - Duraluxe introduced UV-LED printable aluminum panels, a new product line built on the same in-house coating work behind its sublimation panels. The surface is formulated so UV-LED inks bond to the panel and stay there, producing sharp, saturated images on rigid metal that stands up to handling, installation and daily use.
Duraluxe has always built its business on the coating rather than the metal. The powder-coating technology developed in-house within the family-owned Decoral Group is what allows a sheet of aluminum to take a photographic image and hold it. Bringing that work to UV-LED printing meant formulating for a different ink chemistry. UV-LED inks cure on contact and sit on the surface rather than penetrating it, so adhesion is decided entirely by what the ink lands on. The new panel is engineered for that moment.
The result is a panel made for products that get touched. The powder-coated surface is formulated to resist scratching and to hold the printed image without chipping, flaking or delaminating. Every sheet ships with a clear protective masking, so panels arrive clean and stay clean through cutting, printing and packing.
The panels are made for custom home decor, photo products, signage, nameplates and promotional products. Because there is no heat press, no transfer paper and no second workflow, a shop already running a UV-LED flatbed can add coated metal to its product list using the equipment on its floor. The same panel suits room identification and directories, donor and recognition plaques, and equipment and instruction plates, where a rigid coated metal surface has to survive cleaning and contact rather than simply hang on a wall.
Duraluxe UV-LED panels are 0.050 inches thick and available now in Gloss, in full sheets and cut to size. They are made for UV-LED printers and recommended for interior environments. Every sheet is manufactured in Italy and ships with a clear protective masking.
