AVT cuts spare parts prices as first step in bold customer-first strategy
Friday 19. September 2025 - In one of its first moves since becoming a standalone business under new ownership, AVT (Advanced Vision Technology) has announced it is taking the major step of reducing spare parts prices for its cutting-edge print inspection solutions.
Major spare parts price reduction under independent ownership marks a first step in AVT’s broader strategy to deliver customer trust, efficiency, and agility.
The significant move comes in direct response to the voice of its customers and to help address the AVT community need across the label and flexible packaging industries.
“We are proud to announce a significant and permanent reduction in the prices of our spare parts,” said Roy Porat, CEO of AVT. “This move marks a pivotal moment in the journey of AVT as an independent company. It is this independence that has enabled us to reduce prices while maintaining the top-of-the-line quality and service of print inspection equipment we deliver to our customers. This step reinforces our commitment to listening to customers and acting on their needs,” he said.
Porat explained that the move had been enabled by AVT separating from Esko earlier this year and re-establishing itself as a standalone company. “Since becoming our own business again, we have the independence, agility and flexibility to make bold, impactful decisions like these that put our customers first,” he said. “We have the freedom to take major steps and decisions as part of a strategic customer-centric shift to meet our customer needs, without the policies and complexity of a major corporation.”
Addressing pain points
AVT undertook voice of customer research across its global user community to identify areas where it could offer the most help and benefit to customers.
“Importantly, this is not just a promotion, or a campaign offering a limited-time discount,” said Porat. “This is a totally new direction for AVT. The spare parts pricing shift is part of a broader transformation at AVT as we focus on building a customer-centric future, such as investing in connectivity and AI-driven analytics to maximize uptime and reduce unplanned downtime,” he said. “We’re expanding our customer success programs to deliver more proactive and personalized support, and enhancing transparency and responsiveness in every customer interaction.
“Our mission is simple,” Porat said. “It is to help customers maximize efficiency, profitability, and trust in AVT as a long-term partner , and lower spare parts pricing is one important step on that journey.”
The new AVT pricing model has been developed to build and retain customer trust by making ongoing maintenance and support more accessible and affordable.
“This is part of a much broader initiative to reshape how AVT supports our customers, in terms of maximizing their efficiency and profitability into the future,” said Porat. “We want to work with all our customers more transparently, more responsively, and more sustainably.”
