100 exhibitors get ready for 6,000 visitors

Wednesday 15. March 2023 - Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023 opened its doors on February 27. With 100 exhibitors, the industry event has grown slightly since it was last held two years ago. More than 6,000 visitors from all over the world had registered in the runup to the event.

On February 27, the Hunkeler Innovationdays trade fair opened its doors for the fourteenth time. The industry meeting, which is normally held every two years by Hunkeler AG as the organiser, is at a comparable level to the one held four years ago. A total of 100 exhibitors signed up for this year’s event, including leading manufacturers of digital printing systems, consumables and software products. Under the motto “Next Level Automation”, the latest products in all areas of digital printing and processing were presented in Halls 1 and 2 of Messe Luzern. Prior to the event, several exhibitors announced that they would be giving european or world premieres to some of their products, most notably printing systems.
In comparison to Hunkeler Innovationdays 2019, the international character of the industry event has increased once again, with 6,000 visitors from all around the world having registered prior to the start of the trade fair. As with past events, this number grew during the trade fair with a large number of people making last-minute decisions to visit the trade fair. The event attracted a high quality of visitor, as it has also done in previous years. An analysis of the visitor profile revealed that those who made the journey to Lucerne included company owners, managing directors and other key decision makers.
Since Hunkeler Innovationdays was launched as a small in-house trade fair in the 1990s, the industry event has gained in significance every time it has been held. The strong position that Hunkeler Innovationdays holds in the international trade fair calendar is reflected in the increasing interest being shown in the event – and not just by visitors. An ever-increasing number of companies are expressing their interest in coming to Lucerne as exhibitors and taking part in this very industry-specific networking event focusing on high-performance digital printing.
We are keen to emphasize the great significance of the trade fair, as the Hunkeler Innovationdays have always been planned, organized and held solely by Hunkeler AG. Despite its growth, the character and aim of the trade fair has always remained the same, with the Innovationdays staying true to its original premise – to be an industry event for partners in the digital printing and finishing business and to present visitors with solutions that stand out from the crowd thanks to their high degree of practical relevance.
