Exclusive new products with Koenig & Bauer LIVE
Tuesday 16. June 2020 - A trade fair goes digital: Koenig & Bauer LIVE will present exclusive new products, a complete workflow for packaging production and many other innovations for the printing industry from 16 to 25 June 2020. The live streaming on weekdays in the Koenig & Bauer LIVE section of the website will cover the companys diverse portfolio ranging from banknotes, cardboard, foil, metal and glass packaging to coding, advertising and publication printing.
To bridge the gap between drupa, which was originally planned for this month, and the new date of the leading trade fair in April 2021, web visitors will be informed about the latest innovations for the industry. Koenig & Bauer’s print experts will report on progress and developments in the live sessions. Each session will last around 20 minutes and will be held in English or German – with start times at 10, 1 and 4 pm (CEST) for the different time zones around the globe.
Koenig & Bauer LIVE starts with a “sneak preview” of drupa 2021, with further presentations providing insights into digital and web printing (corrugated, digital printing, flexo), digital services in sheetfed offset and applications in commercial and packaging production. Labelling printing, metal printing, printing on glass and hollow bodies as well as solutions for security printing will be covered under the heading “Special Solutions”. Other highlights include innovations in digital packaging printing from the Koenig & Bauer Durst joint venture. These include the introduction of the new VariJET 106, which integrates inkjet technology into the platform of the high-performance Rapida 106 sheetfed offset press. Another focus of Koenig & Bauer LIVE is the market launch of the new 2020 generation Rapida 106.
