Multiple awards for extreme requirements: Labels with Sihl FACESTOCK

Tuesday 19. May 2020 - The transport of goods by sea is usually chosen when long distances have to be covered and trucks and railways are not an alternative. The shipping of goods containers is then cheaper than transport by air. By sea, containers are often exposed to extreme weather conditions. The Sihl FACESTOCK range offers a very good basis for identification labels that have to master all these challenges with thermal transfer, laser or inkjet printing.

With the certification according to BS5609 Section 3 for HP PageWide, PICOFILM O-60 white XM1 from Sihl’s FACESTOCK range has received its 7th consecutive award.
Sihl offers a coated BOPP film for aqueous inkjet printing with PICOFILM O-60 white XM1 from the FACESTOCK range for this purpose.
The product is optimally suited for marking dangerous goods transport by sea in accordance with the new GHS standards. It is characterised in particular by its high abrasion and water resistance. 0-60 white XM1 is now approved with HP PageWide for a total of 7 printer types in accordance with BS 5609 Section 3 and is therefore seawater resistant.
