Robust inkjet paper for maps and construction drawings

Tuesday 07. April 2020 - Durables from Sihl are characterized by their special quality: They are tear-resistant, robust and optimally printable. With ENDURO Inkjet 110 Classic 2s, the latest product in the ENDURO range, Sihl presents a hard-wearing material composite consisting of a PP film core and surface-treated inkjet papers: Its high folding strength makes it ideal for maps, technical drawings and similar applications. Its high wet and tear resistance make it a reliable partner for demanding cartography.

The special paper surfaces on both sides convince with best results in water-based inkjet printing with dye and pigment inks. They guarantee fast ink drying, high colour brilliance and good print contrast. Furthermore, the material has been successfully qualified on HP PageWide XL and is listed in the HP Media Locator with its own profile.
But the ENDURO Inkjet 110 Classic 2s not only shows optimum results in water-based printing, it is also suitable for offset and flexo printing and can therefore be used universally. It is also easy to write on by hand and pencil markings can be erased perfectly without damaging the print.
Of course, Sihl places great importance on sustainability and environmental friendliness in its products. Due to the multi-layer product structure, the material offers a robust solution and at the same time an inexpensive and ecologically sustainable alternative to fully synthetic materials. It is PVC-free and FSC-certified, and the paper fibres used are recyclable. The material can therefore be easily disposed of by the end user via paper recycling.
