FESPA announces 2016 award winners

Winner of Category 6 Special Effects – Midi Print

Monday 14. March 2016 - FESPA has revealed the winners of its 2016 Awards at its annual Gala Dinner, which took place at Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam on Wednesday 9 March.

The winners of the application categories are:

Decals, Printed Labels and Fleet Marking – MakeCover
Special Effect Printing – Midiprint LLC
Special Effect T-Shirt and Garment Printing – Tarun Printing Works pvt. Ltd.
Roll-to-Roll Printed Textile – The Look Company
Glass, Ceramic, Metal and Wood Products – P&P Promotion
Direct Printing on Three Dimensional Products – Matoshri Graphics
Non Printed Signage – Sign of the Times
Miscellaneous – University of Applied Sciences Munich

Also announced at the Awards Gala Dinner were the winners of the four non-application focused categories.

The 2016 People’s Choice of the Year Award, voted for online by FESPA’s global print community from the shortlisted entries, was presented to Flyerline of Switzerland.

The Best in Show Award, decided by the judges across all of the entries that they felt offered the most outstanding example of print, went to The Look Company from Qatar for its entry titled ‘Look at the Possibilities’ in the roll-to-roll printed textile category.

The FESPA Awards, part of FESPA’s Profit for Purpose reinvestment philosophy, celebrates print excellence and aims to inspire and motivate the global print community to push the boundaries of print.
