New impulses in industrial marking and coding

Monday 09. November 2015 - Paul LEIBINGER showcases its smart solutions at productronica 2015

Marking specialist Paul LEIBINGER is presenting its smart solutions for the electronics industry at productronica, the world’s leading trade show for innovative electronics production, in Munich (November 10th – 13th, 2015). At Booth 412 in Hall A2, trade show visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the industrial coding as well as marking quality control for electrical and electronic components. Accompanying samples will also be marked and coded right on site.

Switches, buttons, mainboards, PCBs, cables and connectors – they all have one thing in common: They all have to be coded at some point along the value creation chain. Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG offers flexible marking systems that code any kind of surface or material during ongoing production with fixed or variable data without any contact. The unique automated Sealtronic nozzle seal prevents the ink in the printhead from drying out during this process, even after long shut-down periods, ensuring maintenance-free start-up in seconds at any time.

Over 800 functions are integrated into the brand-new JET3up continuous inkjet printer in order to satisfy the multitude of different applications in the electronics industry. In addition, the JET3up MI printer model offers the option of printing at sizes down to 0.7 mm. This means it is possible to place plenty of easily legible information on even the smallest electronic components. Coding with white or other light-colored contrast inks is available for dark surfaces, such as on cables and plastic housings. To make this possible, LEIBINGER developed the JET3up PI. Thanks to its sophisticated technology, pigments will not settle in the printer.

Alongside its inkjet printers, Paul LEIBINGER is also presenting its flexible LKS 5 camera verification system and its new V-check vision system in Hall A2 at Booth 412. Among others, the systems enable reliable quality control of printed data like barcodes, numbers and text segments. Furthermore, the marking specialist is demonstrating how products like PCBs and other electrical and electronic components can be coded quickly and easily in groups with its portal axis.
