glass deco – Neschen expands filmolux portfolio
Friday 24. October 2014 - Soft-PVC-film with special effects and extremely easy handling
Neschen’s filmolux family grows: the portfolio of the Lower Saxony print media specialist expands with the brand new “filmolux glass deco”. Designed for application on glass surfaces the film features easy mounting and long durability.
Filmolux glass deco adds to Neschen’s broad product portfolio for interior design. The new film is, however, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. This polymeric translucent soft PVC film is 80µm thick and gives the impression of etched glass. Due to its metal pigmentation it has an extremely sophisticated appearance of streak-free milk glass optics and reduces unwanted mirroring. In addition, filmolux glass deco offers high UV protection (UV-A 60% and UV-B 100%). A permanent water based and colour neutral adhesive enables adhesion to any glass surface. A multitude of applications are possible – from large scale screening measures or room separations to quality branding, typefaces and logos as well as all other graphic designs. The long durability of filmolux glass deco is stated by Neschen as 10 years for indoor and 7 years for outdoor applications which puts it at the forefront in this product segment.
Easy removal even after years
Significant times savings can be realised during plotter cutting due to its easy handling. Thanks to its special adhesive structure filmolux glass deco can be bubble-free mounted and removed without leaving any residue. Errors during mounting can thus be corrected quickly and without any negative consequences. In addition, the adhesive reacts immediately and does not have to dry for optimum stickiness. Even after longer adhesion times such as three years, next to no residue upon removal is recorded. Designs can be removed without being torn up.
Neschen filmolux glass deco is available as of now. The new film will be presented to trade visitors for the first time at Viscom 2014 in Frankfurt. Neschen can be found at the joint booth of the Fachverband der Medienproduktioner f:mp “go visual” in hall 3.0, booth H55.
