pressSIGN 6 automtaically connects to Ryobi presses
Tuesday 21. October 2014 - Resource Print Solutions, of Leeds UK, is the first company to install the latest pressSIGN update that directly connects with the Ryobi 925 press.
Resource Print Solutions (RPS) has an unrivalled name for print quality and the addition of the pressSIGN print standardisation solution reinforces that reputation. pressSIGN 6 ensures that all jobs match ISO 12647 or any customer standard, quickly and easily.
The Ryobi 925 utilises a Techkon SpectroDrive to measure the colour bar and provide the closed loop control. The same data is imported into pressSIGN for print quality analysis and to provide production reports on all aspects of colour quality.
pressSIGN 6 also provides powerful reporting tools for Resource Print Solutions’ management showing them how to utilise their resources most effectively.
David Woodcock, Operations Director at RPS, commented, “we are delighted to connect pressSIGN automatically to our closed loop measurement solution. We have been using pressSIGN for some time on a manual basis, but the new solution makes the whole process much more efficient.”
Ian Reid, Managing Director, added, “linking pressSIGN to press manufacturers closed loop systems is by far the best way for printers to maintain process control. Adding Ryobi to the work we do with Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, Sakurai and Mitsubishi is an important addition
