Florida publisher selects NEWSCYCLE Solutions for circulation software and cloud deployment

Monday 22. September 2014 - Tampa Media Group adds circulation software and extends hosting agreement for all Newscycle systems

NEWSCYCLE Solutions has signed a long-term agreement with Tampa Media Group to install Newscycle Circulation in the company’s cloud-hosted platform for the group’s daily, weekly and digital publications. The contract also extends the hosting agreement for Newscycle’s content, digital, and advertising systems already in operation at all Tampa Media Group properties.
“We have formed a first-rate partnership with Newscycle and we are excited to start using their circulation system,” said Brian Junge, director of IT, Tampa Media Group. “Newscycle software has proven to be the best for our publications, and we determined that adding circulation to our existing systems was the right way to go. And, the migration to a cloud platform has been a smart move for us – saving time and money, and always keeping us on current versions of the software.”
Tampa Media Group will use Newscycle Circulation to focus on audience relationship management and retention. The circulation system provides a powerful toolset that captures audience data and enhances customer satisfaction through automated communications, self-service features, and targeted marketing campaigns. Newscycle’s unique ability to deliver a PCI compliant circulation system is also a critical business advantage for the news group.
Tampa Media Group opted for Newscycle’s cloud-based publishing systems as a strategic move and best-practices approach to streamline workflows, achieve greater efficiencies, and combine lower operational costs with higher productivity levels.
“Tampa Media Group is a great customer with a solid business plan,” said Randal Meske, vice president of sales, Newscycle. “They were on an extremely tight deadline with earlier Newscycle systems moving to our cloud platform, and we met it. We are pleased they want Newscycle Circulation in the mix.”
