NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces new Circulation Software release

Friday 12. September 2014 - Latest version focuses on digital enhancements, self-service tools and audience integration

NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces the release of Newscycle Circulation version 2014.1. The new software release includes expanded digital subscription capabilities, additional tools for subscriber and distributor self-service, and integration with Newscycle’s Audience targeting and personalization platform.
“This is an exciting time for NEWSCYCLE Circulation, as 2014.1 was deployed using a new ‘Release Process’ with a focus on quality and cross-department involvement,” said Dana Midby, Newscycle’s director of product strategy, commerce. “These changes include expanded testing, a committed release team, with training, documentation and beta process management all playing a major role.”
Newscycle Circulation offers publishers a best-practices approach to business strategies by cost-effectively improving the end-to-end circulation workflow. The new software adds features that further bolster the system’s strength, functionality, and flexibility.
Newscycle Circulation 2014.1 includes the following enhancements:
Newscycle Audience integration – gives valuable insight into the behaviors of Web audiences. Captured audience data provides non-subscriber digital marketing opportunities. Print subscribers and Web readers’ actions are integrated for enhanced targeted marketing, trending and analysis when using Newscycle Analytics.
Day Pass and Day Pass Bundle- helps increase revenue from digital content. Access to digital news and information is sold for a single day, or as multiple-day passes, reducing the number of credit card transactions.
Digital Complaint Redelivery Option – reduces the number of physical redeliveries and credits for missed deliveries by offering limited access to digital content in lieu of redelivering the newspaper or providing a credit.
iServices Subscriber Enhancements – includes an unlimited number of alerts for weather, school closings, etc. and newsletters (e.g. sports, entertainment) with the ability for the subscriber to easily select these elements on-line with the preferred method for delivery. Also, data from Omniture , an online marketing and Web analytics product, is now available to better understand consumer interactions on iServices pages.
iServices Distribution Enhancements – provides the ability to use simple tools to establish the route delivery order with detailed driving directions, enabling independent carriers to manage and produce their own route lists.
