REVO OPEN HOUSE, “WORLD PREMIERE” FOR DIGITAL FLEXO

On the 10th, 11th and 12th June 2014, GIDUE Headquarters in Florence will host the REVO Open House, launching the Digital Flexo Revolution, one of the most innovative and revolutionary events in the Labels and Packaging industry, a true “industry move” collectively organized by a team of major technology players in the flexo market.
REVO- Digital Flexo Revolution is a new manufacturing method in flexography developed for the full digitalization of the flexo process. The REVO Project collects a Team of global suppliers of material and technologies, ADARE, APEX, AVT, DUPONT, ESKO, FLINT, GIDUE, UPM RAFLATAC, working together to introduce the Digital Flexo Revolution in the Labels and Packaging industry.
REVO manufacturing method integrates the latest developments in UV Flexo, extended colour gamut and digital automation technologies. Traditional manual flexo operations like ink colour matching, pressure and register settings, exchanging of print cylinders are fully automated and digitally controlled. PMS colours are “digitally” prepared via Software. Inks and anilox rollers are never changed in the press. With 7 colours most PMS colours are reproduced. Unlimited number of PMS colours can be printed inside the same job. With an extremely vibrant quality on process images.
As a result, set up wastes and times are comparable to conventional Digital presses. The Agenda of the 3 days Open House includes 4 live demonstrations per day on 2 GIDUE fully digitally automated presses, 370 mm. for Labels and 630 mm. for Packaging. Visitors will have the opportunity to understand in depth the main technical REVO Concepts by attending 4 technical Seminars, prior to each press demonstration, or by speaking directly with top-level management of each REVO Team member.
The full REVO Set of Technologies will be displayed: Ancora Low Migration UV inks, Cyrel DFUV photopolymer plates, GTT anilox rollers, Equinox separation pre-press, Fit range of substrates, Infinite Flower print units, Helios II 100% inspection. REVO Team announces that REVO Method and REVO Set of Technologies will be immediately available as a “turnkey package, after the REVO Open House. DIGITAL FLEXO Revolution will be accessible to every Labels and Packaging converter in the industry, from the REVO Team members worldwide.
