Fuji Xerox Supports 2014 ITU World Triathlon Yokohama With Its Document Solutions and Services

Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will support the 2014 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Triathlon Yokohama Note 1 as a Silver Sponsor by providing document solutions and services for operating this event, which will be held on May 17 and 18 at a specially prepared course in the area surrounding Yokohama’s Yamashita Park.
In order to ensure that the triathlon is run smoothly, a communication environment allowing prompt and accurate decision-making is necessary. To enable that, as last year, Fuji Xerox will provide document solutions and services with its digital color multifunction devices, a cloud service Working Folder and the Scan Translation Service.
A variety of documents related to the triathlon need to be shared at various times, in various locations and languages under high security conditions, within the event’s headquarters as well as with external parties and sponsoring partners. The Company will help the triathlon’s staff share both internal and external information and provide them with substantial support for running the triathlon smoothly by improving work efficiency.
Furthermore, this year, Fuji Xerox will be offering SkyDesk Media Trek to its spectators. SkyDesk Media Trek is a cloud-based GPS-linked audio guide service that plays audio guides in a timely manner on the race course and at famous tourist spots in Yokohama based on a spectator’s walking route via his/her smartphoneNote 2. The audio guides will be available in Japanese and English.
