IBIS raises the speed and productivity bar in the heart of Europe

Friday 23. May 2014 - We are delighted to announce that IBIS has provided a 'game-changing' solution for a major company in Brussels by providing a Smart-binder saddle-stitcher to produce 800,000 direct-marking brochures in eight days.

This printing systems and document management ‘giant’, which also specializes in direct marketing and outsourcing, has recently installed IBIS’s Smart-binder SB-2 ‘Plus HS’ system. The need for high speed, integrity, and 24/7 robust operation were central to its decision to opt for an IBIS Smart-binder.
Rolls are printed on an Océ web printer and the IBIS Smart-binder ‘Plus HS’ system is fed near line from a roll unwinder and web cutter. Each A5, 16-page, stitched and 3-side trimmed document is individually personalized, including the recipient’s name and address.
By integrating modules from different suppliers we are providing a tangible ROI for this printer. This is an example of how the European market is investing again in digital-print solutions.
