Thursday 22. May 2014 - C&T Matrix is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new creasing matrix - PINK.

PINK is the result of years of R&D with engineers and materials scientists and has been tested in several markets for the past 12 months to perfect its characteristics. Only now is C&T ready to share this revolutionary product with its customers.
The key component of this new matrix is the material it is made from – ROSADIUM. This patented product gives unrivalled durability to the matrix and, for the first time, offers the market an alternative to counter plates in the form of creasing matrix. ROSADIUM is the secret to the success of PINK, as it is a specially-formulated composite which combines fibres, resin and other materials to make a uniquely durable and flexible matrix. This product is exclusive to C&T.
PINK’s features give many benefits including:
– Highly suitable for long-run applications, in excess of 150,000 impressions.
– Extra strong tape, (20 x stronger than standard), gives better registration and a long life.
– Newly designed locators give improved alignment of creasing rule and less shoulder wear.
– A Sharp Chamfer improves the flow of the board over the matrix, giving fewer jams.
– PINK is easy to handle, making it easy to cut and work/chamfer with a knife during make ready.
– Unlike traditional pressboard material PINK is far more resilient to delamination
PINK is particularly suitable for thin-plate applications and can be removed and stored without the matrix falling from the plate. It is available in various heights and widths with an off-centred option. All sizes are supplied with strong tape but standard tapes can be specified. Bespoke sizes can also be manufactured to individual tailored needs.
