QUALITY AND REASSURANCE
At C&T Matrix, “quality comes first”, said Simon Shenton Managing Director of C&T Matrix. “Patch Tape and Shim Tape are made by C&T to the very stringent tolerances required for die cutting”. Patch Tape is used on the back of the dies behind the cutting rule to increase the pressure necessary to achieve a good, clean cut across the area of the whole die. Shim Tape is used when paper patching is not sufficient and a more durable solution is required. “All our products undergo rigorous testing and quality control in our UK laboratory as part of ISO9001 approved quality procedures” he added.
Another key consumable product within the newly extended range is the specially formulated counter-material (Counters), made from phenolic resin and used as an alternative to creasing matrix for long run jobs.
