High-end drying for perfect results
Thursday 27. February 2014 - Hönle and Eltosch offer customized drying and curing systems for industrial printing applications
From 8-10 April the UV specialists of Dr. Hönle AG present their high- end curing systems for industrial printing applications at InPrint 2014. Since almost 40 years Hönle develops and manufactures customi- zed UV systems for the printing industry – no matter if for screen, digital or inkjet printing, for web- and sheet-applications as well as for 3D or printed electronics. Hönle curing systems are always tailor-made to the customer’s demand and – of course – always state-of-the-art. Thus, a broad spectrum of curing units has been developed in the course of the years: It spreads from conventional UV technology over inert solutions to upcoming UV-LED technology. To guarantee to the customers the best quality possible, key components are developed and manufactured inhouse.
At InPrint 2014 Hönle shows seminal curing technology for any require- ment: With the jetCure world market leader Hönle gives evidence of their huge competence in UV curing at large-format inkjet printing. By reaching a double peak-intensity compared to similar products, jetCure systems lead to an excellent curing result even at high web speeds, which means a considerably improved printing quality. Due to speci- ally developed cold light reflectors, this applies also for temperature- sensitive substrates. jetCure units are available with various lamp spectra which are individually adapted to each printing process. In short, jetCure units are as customized as can be!
In addition to conventional UV technology Hönle presents individual solutions in UV-LED, above all their LED Powerline-series. These highly intensive LED-arrays come in various irradiation width and wave- lengths and can be optimally adapted to any application. Due to its great success Hönle has continuously further developed the LED Powerline- series, always in close cooperation with printing machine manufacturers. Thus, the product line today offers many process-focused variants.
Hönle manufactures all control units for their UV and UV-LED systems in house. This results in customized activation options, ideal for the curing process and ideal for the user! The possibilities range from a simple “plug & play” table-top via mounting plate to a 19”-draw for
top hat rail mounting. Control and electric supply offer great design flexibility, Hönle has the right solution for every demand.
Dr. Hönle AG shares stand with their subsidiary Eltosch. The specialist for IR and hot air drying shows their Eco Power Jet, an air-cooled module which combines powerful IR irradiation and warm air for drying water-based inks, paints and coatings. Eco Power Jet is especially applied in inkjet, flexo printing and for gravure printing proces- ses. Its compact lightweight design allows a simple integration in existing printing presses and production lines.
