FURTHER GIDUE MACHINES FOR TEA BAG PRODUCTION AT FLEXIPRINT SRI LANKA
Wednesday 04. December 2013 - The Sri Lankan Company Flexiprint continues to collaborate with Nuova GIDUE, the Italian manufacturer of printing and converting machines for the Labels & Packaging industry, by investing on two additional GIDUE printing machines in the year 2013.

The cooperation with GIDUE started in 2004, when Sathis Abeywickrama, Managing Director of Flexiprint, decided to invest on GIDUE presses line by installing, in the course of years, 3 water-based flexo printing machines with special die-cutting unit for tea bag production. Today, after about 10 years of cooperation, Flexiprint keep on trusting in GIDUE Brand and, during the last edition of Labelexpo Europe 2013, has invested on two new GIDUE printing machines: the new MX2, exhibited at GIDUE booth, and an M1.

The MX2, the GIDUE press for the production of PS Labels, has been sold with the following configuration: 370mm width, 8 Flexographic print units, 8UV Lamps, 2 die-cutting stations, cold foil and a full set of printing tools.

The second press ordered by Flexiprint is an M1, one of the best printing machines in GIDUE presses line, which is specialized in the production of top quality self-adhesive labels. It has been ordered and configurated with a width of 370mm, 12 UV water-based flexo colors, 3 die-cutting stations and punching units for tea bag tags and envelopes.
With this latest sales success GIDUE confirms the deep relation of mutual confidence and trust with their customers during the years. Furthermore Mr. Abeywickrama met Mr. Federico president of Nuova GIDUE at the recently concluded FTA awards in Manila in the year 2013 were Flexiprint won 2 silver awards and said “GIDUE machines have made Flexiprint proud today as awards winning products were printed on GIDUE Machines”.
