Down Under using Grafiprint in Germany
Friday 08. November 2013 - New Zealand companies Demon Graphics and Blueprint have recently undertaken a project in Frankfurt.
Demon Graphics was asked to wrap a truck and trailer for the 2WAM Superbike team, who are currently racing the Yamaha R6’s in the European Championship. Demon Graphics were approached by Yamaha New Zealand on behalf of 2WAM, as they have a long standing working relationship. The object was to design an eye catching graphic, to make the trailer stand out from the crowd. The graphics were printed in-house at Demon Graphics New-Zealand on their Mimaki JV33-160 and shipped to Frankfurt five days before they were installed. The trailer and the truck were then wrapped in Frankfurt by a Demon Graphics team.
Grafityp’s New Zealand distributor Blueprint supplied the Grafiprint AE38P cast white print film (with air escape adhesive) and the Grafiprint LAMX40 cast gloss laminate. This combination was used due to Grafityp having not only a very strong market presence in Europe, but also in New Zealand, where it has been sold for over 15 years. Dave Raos (Blueprint): “The performance and reliability of this film has been proved time and time again, so their was no doubt on our mind. Grafiprint AE38P and Grafiprint LAMX40 were the perfect solution for this project, which is a great portfolio piece for Demon Graphics and Blueprint with national and international exposure.”
