New dates for Almaty Design Week in 2013

Wednesday 21. August 2013 - The second Design Week will be held in Almaty from November 20 to November 22, 2013 in the center of the southern capital of Kazakhstan - Sports Palace of Baluan Sholak in Almaty.

The first festival of design “Almaty Design Week ‘2012” which has united the companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy, Great Britain, took place a year ago. Separate bright event of a festival was Branding Day – the 15th season organized by Association of Russian Branding Companies. On actions works of the Kazakhstan and foreign designers were presented: industrial design, design of an architectural and urban environment, graphic and subject design, design of clothes and ethno – design, web design and animation.
The second festival “Almaty Design Week ‘ 2013” will unite many major spheres of economy and the industry which key concept is the functional, innovative, comfortable, eco-friendly DESIGN.
Within a festival the following international exhibitions are held:
