Book protection for professionals
Wednesday 24. July 2013 - IFLA 2013: Neschen AG presents its products in Singapore on Stand G120
Neschen will be present at the IFLA 2013 in Singapore from 17 to 23 August. The leading producer of protective films for the library sector will showcase its top-quality products for the protection, care and repair of books. At the IFLA, Neschen will be demonstrating just how easy it is to apply the protective film “filmolux soft” using practical examples and sample books.
The self-adhesive protective film filmolux soft from Neschen enables simple cleaning and disinfection of books, protects them from dirt and wear, thereby increasing their useful life. Above all, it is suitable for use in libraries and schools and stands out for its ease of use. What’s more, the printing inks on dust jackets look particularly striking through the glossy, transparent surface.
Laminating books the easy way
Due to the film’s reduced initial adhesion (full adhesive power develops only after 24 hours), books can be laminated bubble-free, and the position of the film can be corrected on almost all surfaces during application. A dividing cut in the liner also makes for easy removal.
“The IFLA, the annual general conference of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, is just the right place for us,” explains Gunther Wienzek, International Sales Manager at Neschen AG in Bückeburg. “We will be exhibiting our tried-and-tested products and are looking forward to exchanging ideas and networking on a global level.”
At the fair, the employees from Neschen will focus especially on offering advice. On Stand G120, alongside Anja Spitzer (product management), the two Sales Managers, Gunther Wienzek and Ken Chan, will be on hand to answer technical questions. They will explain, among other things, why the Neschen range includes six different book protection films: filmolux, filmolux soft, filmolux soft PP, filmolux 609, filmolux 610 and filmolux libre. These self-adhesive films can be tested and tried out directly on site.
Neschen uses only solvent-free acrylate adhesives which are age-resistant and permanently elastic. The Bückeburg coating specialist is mindful that materials do not contain any critical additives such as heavy metals. At the IFLA 2013 in Singapore from 17 to 23 August, Neschen will be showing its top-quality products on Stand G120.
