Free HELIOS iPad Document Hub custom app development
Friday 19. July 2013 - HELIOS to provide free customized, CI branded, iOS apps for online and offline document presentation, file transfer, and automated sync with intranet company file servers.
HELIOS Software GmbH announced today that three business customers will win free iPad/iPhone custom app development. Each winning firm will get a customized and CI branded app based on the new HELIOS iPad Document Hub, to present and exchange files with their company’s intranet file server. The special apps will be personalized with each winning firm’s preferred app name, logos, icons and predefined settings, and will be published in the Apple iTunes App Store for free.
Features of the personalized iPad and iPhone app include:
– Multi-user secure access to the company’s intranet file server
– Updates files on mobile devices via integrated synchronize feature
– Fast spotlight searches with meta data support will find files on remote server within seconds
– Present files, images and movies in online or offline mode
iPad Document Hub is an iOS app that securely accesses files on a company’s file servers running HELIOS WebShare. It takes advantage of the solid foundation that WebShare provides for secure, multi-user access to server files, using a company’s existing servers, files, user authentication, and file permissions. iPad Document Hub solves the problem that businesses face, to enable mobile device users to securely and efficiently access company server files, to enable file transfers with iPad or iPhone, and file exchange with other iOS apps.
HELIOS Software GmbH will hold a random drawing to award free custom development of iPad Document Hub to three winning participants. An entry can be submitted by simply completing the HELIOS Contact Form, with the message “free-app”. The contest entry deadline is July 31, 2013, and winners will be notified later that week. The iOS app distribution via the iTunes Store requires Apple iOS Developer Program membership, and iPad Document Hub requires a WebShare server.
