Sonoco Board Declares Regular Quarterly Common Stock Dividend

Thursday 18. July 2013 - The Board of Directors of Sonoco (NYSE: SON) today declared a $.31 per share quarterly common stock dividend. The dividend will be paid on Sept. 10, 2013, to shareholders of record as of Aug. 16, 2013.

According to M. Jack Sanders, president and chief executive officer, this is the 353(rd) consecutive quarter, dating back to 1925, that the Company has paid dividends to shareholders.
