ReadSoft AB to Release XBOUND Update for Windows 8 Users
Tuesday 02. July 2013 - ReadSoft AB today announced it will be shipping the next generation of its XBOUND platform with a special new tool for Windows 8 and Windows RT, Microsoft's latest version of its market-leading Windows operating system.
As a market leader in high volume document processing, XBOUND turns your complex inbound document sorting and distribution processes into high-performance, automated flows. Even the great volumes of paper and electronic information received by large corporations and SSCs can be adeptly managed through the XBOUND platform.

The foundation combines highly accurate scanning technology, which quickly captures the information on your documents, classifies the document type, and then forwards the information (and the document) automatically for immediate entry into the right business process. The technology can be applied across multiple locations to aggregate information received organization-wide, enforcing a consistent and reliable methodology to business-critical document dissemination.
At the heart of it are the unique process design and control tools. “Our production monitor does not only offer KPI dashboards and Service Level controls, but also a real-time interactive monitor option which covers the entirety of the production process. Our customers are able to control all their processes even in a multi-tenant environment with one single tool. They are immediately aware of any issues in the production and can within the monitor remedy any issues” says Susanne Richter-Wills. In the past ReadSoft’s customers used the powerful monitor only in their production centers, they can now use the mobile version on any Win8 mobile device. “We will ship our new release with the Monitor App installed on Surface-tablets so that our customers are able to benefit from this new technology which increases the effectiveness of the XBOUND platform even more”.
XBOUND’s 3.7 release has been developed with Windows 8 in mind and comes with a state-of-the-art user experience that is designed to take advantage of touch screens and mobile devices, so managing document processes is intuitive and easy.
