“Window Film Works” Photo Contest
Monday 24. June 2013 - Customers who prove that window film worked are eligible to win up to $4,000
Gila window film not only improves the look and performance of windows, they are a smart and cost effective solution for the do-it-yourself consumer. These consumers can now win up to $4000 by demonstrating their handiwork. Eastman Chemical Company, manufacturer of Gila window film, launched a photo contest to illustrate the many benefits and uses of residential window film. The contest allows customers to submit photos of their DIY window film projects for a chance to win. Contestants can submit photos on the Gila Facebook page and select one of four categories that their project fits into: Privacy, Energy Savings & Heat Control, Decorative, and Unique Non-Window Applications.
The winner of each category will receive a prize of $1000. However, contestants have the chance to win up to $4000 if they submit one unique photo to each category. The first ten entries will receive a $50 Visa gift card. See the full contest rules for more information.
The contest aims to demonstrate the many different ways Gila window film can be used throughout the home. “This gives consumers a fun way to demonstrate how they’ve used Gila window film to improve their home,” said Dan Birkenmeier, Global Retail Sales and Marketing Manager for Eastman Chemical Company. “Window film is a great solution to reduce cooling costs, decrease glare or add privacy and a decorative look to windows. The contestants are also demonstrating that “I did this and you can do it too”.”
The deadline to enter is July 7th, after which the winners will be determined by public voting and announced on July 30th.
Gila window film offers do-it-yourself adhesive-based and static cling film products for residential windows at major home and garden centers. Privacy Control, Energy Saving, Glare Control and Decorative are just a few of the many options available. “It’s a do-it-yourself product, so easy installation is an important feature. With Gila, it’s very simple to change the look and performance of existing windows. The installation process only takes about 15 minutes per window, but the results last for years,” said Birkenmeier.
