Presteligence Launches Web Portal for Commercial Jobs through NewsXtreme

Presteligence, an industry leading software developer and innovator, has designed a web portal for newspapers commercial clients to upload pages for production. Gannetts Des Moines Register is the first to launch this new software.
NewsXtreme Portal allows for automation and creates efficiencies within production and prepress departments while drastically streamlining the process of uploading pages for commercial customers.
When a commercial job is contracted, the customer receives an email containing the job information and link to the portal where they can upload their PDFs. Customers can visually see a confirmation message of a successful file upload via the portal, increasing their confidence in file transfers compared to FTP. In addition, they are able to preview the pages and accept or reject them.
NewsXtreme Portal manages the front end workflow while talking to NewsXtreme behind the scenes. Uploaded files are ripped and scheduled for production is automatically created. For Gannett, ripped files are distributed to the appropriate business unit(s) based on the job and the system renames the files as needed for each print site.
NewsXtreme Portal is now available to any publishing entity wishing to create efficiencies for commercial production jobs.
