FOLEX AND REGULUS AT FESPA
Tuesday 28. May 2013 - At FESPA in London the two companies will be for the first time showing their media portfolio under the joint umbrella of the Folex group. The focus of the presented products and innovations will target the Sign & Display, Reprographics, Membrane Switch and Digital Press markets.
An innovative coating for Eco/Solvent and latex inks with extremely good drying performance will be on show introduced for a new backlit and rollup media. Typically with backlit applications that previously required high color saturation, productive print speeds in roll-to-roll processing with Eco/Solvent printers was not feasible. The new backlit quality DIALUX QD is presented and offers a solution that guarantees excellent results even on high speed printers. The same technology is integrated for a new version in the Roll-Up film series “Stoplite”. Along with rapid drying times it also offers a structured surface. As a result, the print not only has the “look” of a textured laminated image it is also very scratch resistant.
Other new products on show at the Folex booth G36S which this year is presented in London, will be a significantly expanded canvas and opaque PP film selection. We will also have a sneak preview of some products soon to be launched. The Reprojet separation film family continues to grow with a special matt surface for challenging screen emulsions and flexo applications. The surface offers fast vacuum release and reduces the “sticking” effect that can sometimes occur with some screen emulsions and especially to flexo plates. Finally a new Tack Jet range which has a special cling surface for Ink Jet printing is coming soon.
In addition to these markets Folex offers some new products for the membrane switch film segment. Therefore for the screen printing area we provide you at FESPA London GO-HC/AN a scratch-resistant polyester film (hardcoat) with a micro rough surface on the reverse side to avoid Newton’s rings, and GO-AR NEW QUALITY. This is a semi matt polyester film with antireflective coating on the front side and excellent UV blocking capabilities and superb printability.
