PrinterOn today announced that its PrintWhere application has been verified as Citrix Ready. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. PrintWhere completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenApp, providing confidence in joint solution compatibility.
The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Customers can be confident that PrintWhere has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with XenApp in order to enable Citrix users to print from iPads, Android tablets and other devices to any enterprise print location, on any network.
PrintWhere is accessed via any Windows application. Users are able to search for and print to all enabled enterprise printers from their Citrix sessions without having to be connected to the network or having particular print drivers installed. Printing can be done from any Windows application using the traditional File>Print method maintaining a familiar and consistent user experience.
