Change in Huhtamaki Group Executive Team

Friday 26. April 2013 - Mr. Juha Salonen, Senior Vice President, Administration and Legal, and member of the Group Executive Team, will retire as of May 1, 2013 after a 30-year career at Huhtamaki.

Mr. Salonen has acted in various administration, legal and human resources positions in the Group since 1983 and he has contributed to the Group’s transformation from a primarily domestic multi-business company to a globally operating leading manufacturer of consumer and specialty packaging.
Following Mr. Salonen’s retirement, the members of the Group Executive Team are
Jukka Moisio (Chairman), Chief Executive Officer;
Timo Salonen, Chief Financial Officer;
Sari Lindholm, Senior Vice President, Human Resources;
Clay Dunn, Executive Vice President, North America;
Suresh Gupta, Executive Vice President, Flexible Packaging;
Olli Koponen, Executive Vice President, Molded Fiber;
Eric Le Lay, Executive Vice President, Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania; and
Peter Wahsner, Executive Vice President, Films.
Sami Pauni has been earlier appointed as Group Vice President, Legal, and General Counsel, reporting to Jukka Moisio, CEO. He will also act as Group Executive Team and Board of Directors secretary.
