SkyDesk Service Acquired ASP/SaaS Information Disclosure Certification for Safety and Reliability

January 2013 - For the first time among services offered by Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., SkyDesk Service has been certifiedNote1 for ASP/SaaS Information Disclosure Certification System for Safety and Reliability accredited by Foundation for MultiMedia Communications, which is supported by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

The ASP/SaaS Information Disclosure Certification System for Safety and Reliability grants certifications to services which, in addition to fulfilling prescribed requirements, make appropriate information disclosure concerning safety and reliability to allow companies or local governments considering using an Application Service Provider (ASP) or Software as a Service (SaaS) to compare, evaluate and select them. The system is aimed at facilitating users’ comparison, evaluation and selection of ASP/SaaS services, while promoting the usage of such services.
Using the public cloud, SkyDesk Service offers basic business applications for emailing, business card sharing, calendar, task management, document creation and spreadsheet, which are required in a diverse range of business communications in the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market and project-base tasks consisting of different organizations or sections. The SkyDesk Service was certified for the system by receiving high evaluations on appropriate information disclosure of its safety and reliability.
