BASF to increase prices for Ultramid B polyamide 6 polymer in North America

Wednesday 28. November 2012 - Effective December 1, 2012, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase the price for Ultramid B polyamide (PA) 6 polymer, which includes all PA 6 grades under the Nypel and Capron trade names, by $0.07 per pound in North America.

This price increase is due to continued increases in raw material and additive pricing and may be higher on selected grades.
