Oce Shines the Spotlight on Strategic Partnerships at Graph Expo
Tuesday 09. October 2012 - Finishing companies team with Oce to demonstrate the value of working together.
Oce, a Canon Group Company and an international leader in digital document management, has teamed up with several of finishing companies to demonstrate the value of strategic alliances live on the showroom floor at Graph Expo.
Oce will be collaborating with Lasermax Roll Systems and MBO America to produce a new edition of “War and Peace” printed on lightweight paper on the Oce VarioPrint 6320 Ultra Press in Canon booth 400. Lasermax Roll Systems will provide the SheetFeeder(TM) VP6000 roll feed system and MBO America is providing the folding and delivery systems.
Oce is also collaborating with Standard Finishing Systems in the Canon booth by demonstrating a saddle-stitched children’s book and comic book via the Horizon StitchLiner 6000 Digital and Hunkeler CS6-II, which will all be working in-line with the Oce ColorStream 3900 inkjet printing system. Together, the companies will demonstrate how their equipment works seamlessly together to produce a finished product in one streamlined process.
“It’s really amazing to have so many of our finishing partners not only present at Graph Expo, but actually working with us to show attendees exactly what kind of solutions we can offer together,” said Bob Johnson, product marketing manager, Oce North America, a Canon Group company. “Our presence in their booths and their presence in ours really goes a long way toward demonstrating that we provide versatile, high-quality white paper-in, finished product-out solutions.”

Standard will also demonstrate the Horizon StitchLiner 6000 Digital in their own booth, turning pre-printed rolls from the Oce ColorStream 3000 series inkjet printing systems and Oce JetStream inkjet series into finished, 3-knife trimmed saddle-stitched documents. The result will be two versions of the National Parks Wall Calendar.
“We’re honored to partner with Oce to present best-of-breed solutions that solve customer problems,” said Mark Hunt, Director Strategic Alliances at Standard.
