The PVC film Neschen easy dot 100, winner of the Viscom-Award Best of 2011, has found new applications – in the screen and UV offset printing process. For this, the Neschen product is available in both matte and transparent versions. Its dot patterned adhesive coating makes it an ideal print medium for events and advertising. It’s also plottable, is extremely easy to apply wherever you need it and can be removed from most surfaces residue-free.
“Now screen and UV offset printers have the opportunity to profit from our prize-winning easy dot 100 media,” said Friedrich Drinkuth, Senior Product Manager at Neschen in Bückeburg, Germany. “For events or marketing campaigns with high-volume print runs of the same motif, users are well served with our film. Its print quality is outstanding; and placing and positioning it correctly is easy to do.”
Certified according to DIN 4102 B1 standards, the soft 100µm-thick PVC film is designed for indoor applications on flat or one-dimensionally curved surfaces. In dry conditions, it can also be used outside for short periods. During printing, the 140 g/m” PE covering ensures good flatness and faultless sheet-feeding through UV offset and screen printing machines. Compared to simple kraft paper, it has hardly any reaction to changes in humidity.
Neschen sells the easy dot products in 70 cm x 100 cm sheet-sizes and in rolls (mini-jumbo) with 250 running-meter length at 140 cm wide. The print medium is also available in a standard size of 137.2 cm x 50 cm for solvent, latex and UV-printed inks.
Neschen AG is a founding member of the EcoPrint trade fair. The coating specialist with headquarters in Bückeburg, Germany will take part as an exhibitor at the show, which will be held on 26 and 27 September in Berlin. In Hall 3, Stand 3-332, the company will present its printing media, including easy dot and its new protective laminates with water-based adhesive.
