New all-round adhesive film for water-based inks

Monday 17. September 2012 - Signolit SPMR, the new self-adhesive film from REGULUS, combines many features in one single film. In the past, the user had to apply several different solutions.

The film is removable without any residue being left, but it still sticks well on difficult surfaces like foamed plastic sheets. It even can be used as a wall tattoo on many wallpapers. It is made of polypropylene and is therefore PVC-free, but can, because of its water-resistant coating, be used outside. Brilliant printing results can be achieved with all standard water-based dye and pigment inks. Mechanical mounting on plastic sheets is just as easy and problem-free as manual application. These qualities – together with a particularly attractive price per sq m – mean that the user who prefers to work with water-based printing systems has an ideal opportunity to offer high-quality self-adhesive graphics at competitive prices.
